The GetGenome AI in Genomics Facilitator Programme is designed to equip skilled facilitators with the knowledge, confidence and practical experience to become the next leaders and mentors in AI for Genomics. Combining structured learning, hands-on delivery and ongoing reflection, the programme supports participants as they develop the skills to lead engaging, high-quality training.
Each programme is aligned with the launch of a specific workshop, ensuring facilitators receive focused preparation before delivering sessions themselves. Through a blend of intensive training, supported practice and continued professional development, participants build the confidence and independence needed to facilitate workshops effectively and consistently.
2026 Facilitator Cohort
We are delighted to welcome the first cohort of nine facilitators to the 2026 Facilitator Programme.
Over the coming months, the cohort will undertake an intensive series of training sessions in preparation for our latest workshops taking place in Tunisia. Following their initial training, they will move into supported facilitation, gaining practical experience while continuing to develop through reflection, feedback and ongoing learning.
