GetGenome celebrated in PLOS Biology

GetGenome has featured in the PLOS Biology Community Pages, celebrating the impact of the organisation over the past two years. The article entitled GetGenome: Overcoming inequalities in access to genomics technology focusses on the Call For Projects (CFP) campaigns launched in Tunisia, Mexico and Pakistan during 2022/23 in addition to the inspiration that led to GetGenome's conception.

The article was featured by The Sainsbury Laboratory who generated an engaging news article outlining the impact GetGenome has already had on the community.

We want to thank the Board of Trustees, the wider team, the GetGenome Associates and contributors, the funders and importantly, the 100 Awardees for their outstanding contributions to realise the potential and importance of GetGenome. As outlined in the PLOS article, GetGenome will continue to grow its Network and go from strength to strength as it becomes an important countermeasure against inequitable access to genomics technology and training.
